2016 sunapsis Users Conference

Expand your skills and your network, October 10-12, in Atlanta!

Our annual conference is the best way to stay up to date on sunapsis and connect with fellow users. We are very excited to be hitting the road this year, after many years in Indiana, to expand our reach and bring the conference to you, the end-users! We are thrilled our first visit is Atlanta, the home of several of our client institutions; Emory University, Georgia State University, and our host, Georgia Institute of Technology! We will be making our way around the U.S. over the next few years in order to help you:

  • Improve your sunapsis skills in sessions with our team and other users
  • Network with people from institutions nationwide
  • Learn about our plans for sunapsis and offer your input
  • Discuss best practices in international services
  • Have the option of attending a two-day workshop before the conference

Whether you’re a new client or a regular at our conferences, you’re sure to learn something valuable.

Our knowledgeable support specialists and developers provide hands-on training. Register for one of our two-day interactive workshops and walk away with a fully functioning checklist, e-forms customized for your office, or technical expertise on pluggable components.
E-Form Workshop: We show you the ins and outs of creating online forms.
Techie Workshop: Come spend a couple of days developing a custom subsystem in sunapsis, using our pluggable custom components.  Learn about custom tables and dataobjects, alerts, wildcards, reports, email services, and e-form extensions.
Checklist Workshop: Analyze your current practices, identify what the checklist workflow tool can do for your institution, and learn how to build checklists that will improve your office workflow.
Workshop Registration — $200 per person, per workshop

We’re excited to visit Atlanta, the home of several of our client institutions, Emory University, Georgia State University, and our host, Georgia Institute of Technology! Each year we invite sunapsis users across the nation to this collaborative training, support, and networking event. Engage in hands-on workshops, presentations, and discussions to discover current best practices in international student and scholar services. Gain the most up-to-date knowledge and expertise to proactively manage your international population.
Full Conference Registration — $500 per person (includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner Mon-Tues & breakfast and lunch on Wed)
One Day Registration — $250 per person (includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner Mon-Tues & breakfast and lunch on Wed)

The Georgia Institute of Technology will be hosting sunapsis conference delegates for an opening celebration reception on Sunday evening to welcome us to their campus for the week. Be sure to book a slightly earlier flight to attend! More details about time and location to come!

Check out the daily conference schedule to see what topics will be covered by your colleagues around the U.S. and the sunapsis team this year! Monday there will be a concurrent Process Track, one for Scholar-focused sessions and one for Student-focused sessions. Tuesday and Wednesday's Process Track is relevant to both populations. There is a one-day registration option should that work best for your schedule and needs this year.
